I want to note that "Captain Ron" is part of a "Thrillogy" of Kurt Russell movies wherein he wears an eyepatch. I speak of "Escape from New York", "Escape from L.A." and of course "Captain Ron". When they need a one-eyed actor in Hollywood, they say "Get me Kurt Russell!" and he delivers! Fortunately, this exceptionally fine and underappreciated film is now out on the miracle of DVD.
