| Discussion: Bridget Jones Diary Am I the only one here >>By saTchmo What a hilarious movie. One of the few cases wher the movie is as good as the book. They did Helen Fielding proud I'm sure. The cast was bang-on perfect. Hugh Grant walked right out of HF's page and onto the screen. Colin Firth was unbelievably adorable, charming, sexy...and Rene Zellwegger was...welll.. delightful. The opening scene with her drunk in red flannel Pj's singing "All by myself" was so perfect only a thirty year old singleton could tell you just how much so... Looking forward to the sequal. Zellwegger isn't fat, just normal, but that's the Hollywood rules i guess. and just like beloved i always imagine her with a bottle of wine when i hear "all by myself". i actually hated that song, but now i smile whenever i hear it. >>By piaf Renee Zellweger was great in this. I really enjoyed this movie, and would certainly reccomend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.
