Bloodsport is a good movie, the kind that pumps you up to go train or workout. I agree that it is the best Van Damme movie ever. I also think that it is tite that it is a true story about the great Frank Dux. Who do you think would win between Van Damme and Dux in a real fight???? That's the question.

I was 8 grade when i first sow that movie. From that day Van Damme
is my number 1 action movie actor. Bloodsport and Kickboxer are the best
movies Van Damme ever played. The first is focused on the fights.
The second , is focused on the training. As both would be a mirror of eachother.
The sound track is grate, maybe only Rocky 4 is better from that point of view

Bolo Yeung would kill Van Damme is real life its stupid how they made chong li look like so bad in the final round i mean at least make him look good losing.

There's no question 'bout it, Bloodsport is THE BEST MARTIAL ARTS MOVIE IN THE WORLD! The soundtrack & the fight scenes are the best. Van Damme's performance is the best out of all the movies he has ever made. I've ALWAYS loved karate films and first watched this movie with my cousins when I was like 8 yrs old, I've never got bored of it, I'm 19 now & its still my most favourite film. Any martial arts fan HAS to watch it. Van Damme & Bolo Yeung RULE!

All you guys are friggin retarded. Lean to spell, and learn to appreciate movies that are GOOD. Bloodsport was a cool movie back when I was 16 and I was an idiot. Try watching something like A Beautiful Mind, assuming you tards can understand it. Van Damme is NOT a good actor, Bolo Yeung is NOT a good actor, the soundtrack sucks, and Jet Li puts this entire website to shame.

I wouldn't listen to a guy who's name is reffering to whats in his pants... but in a scence he is right.
VanDamme and Bolo In my Opinion aren't good actors but the Music was shaped, so that you would be sucked into the movie and it kindda makes you want to fight blind folded doesn't it?
Anyway a while back a "Times" magazine reporter ran an expose it said that "Frank W. Dux" was nothing more than a liar. One of the other acheivements "Frank W.Dux" claims to have under his belt is being awarded the Congressional "MEDAL OF HONOR" the United States highest medal of approval, Someone Smell BULLSHIT. He does however teach a Ninjitsu school in Southern California and people say thats it's nothing more than a little flared up Jujitsu, he was in the Army Reserve though.
His Records are way the heck too fast and yes that MEANS HE CAN'T FIGHT BLIND FOLDED.

But Despite all of this, "BLOODSPORT" kicks some of todays movies A** No Question.
I am 16 and i still love this movie. The soundtrack is early Electronica because it has a steady bass beat.
You guys can beleive what you want to beleive but. I was crushed when i found out. If you see it in the bargain bin pick it up it has a good story and the fighting ROCKS!!!

P.S. Bloodsport 2,3,4 aren't worth watching.

Bloodsport is the best JC movie ever. The movie was made in category "B". It has nothing to do with "big" movie category "A". Anyway, movie is great, and director Mark DiSalle, is proud of for sure. In my case, this movie gave me a lot of energy to start my training of martial arts couple of years ago. At the moment I keep kickin' Taekwondo ITF, and I like it so much. Take it easy.

I liked the movie too and also believe that it was the best JC movie, though I have learned that Frank Dux had fabricated the story of BloodSport and his experience in the Kumite... WOULD ANYONE CARE TO RESPECTFULLY DISCUSS THIS?
