Wow im the first to speak about this movie cool!! well what i can say, i really enjoyed this movie, it really bought to to life a rarely touched period in human history. animated was good and the voices to the characters where excellent.. only problem with it was sometimes the CGI wouldnt capture the emotions of the characters as you taught it would.
i could only imagine what kind of film it could of being if they hadnt made it an animated one.... now that would of being interesting and maybe thats what they should of done from day one .. but who am i to judge....its a movie to see

Nobody seems to want to discuss the movie. I really like it and I am surprised a lot of the people I know didn't. The CGI was not that good, everybody were to smooth and shiny. I remember studying Beowulf in High School, it was really good although I admit I find it hard to read through the original translation of the text.
The movie was a fresh take of the epic. I just can't get over Angelina Holie, strutting naked with her high heels. She was gorgeous and all but the high heels... well.

I just saw it last week and thought the story a little thin.....but then I never read the original, it may be thin too as is many times the case in legends (not history). I agree with your comment about their expressions, they don't seem to have mastered 'mouths' yet have they?
