I love this movie. I watch it every time it comes on TV. I would love to see it on the big screen. It has a good story. Two childhood friends become enemies because of conflicting loyalties. A nobleman becomes a galley slave, but lives to exact revenge. The chariot race is exciting. There's a line in the film I like. This isn't an exact quote, but it goes something like this: "We keep you alive to serve this ship. Row well and live." Or this one: "It seems that in his eagerness to save you, your God has saved the Roman fleet." Or when the emperor says: "Allow us to be merciful."
