when my dad first watched it i was a bit scared but every time i watch it i think awsome to watch as they go in and out of fires and hows a man steped up and fought the fire to save his older brother

That movie just makes me think of how a few of my friends are firefighters, and how much work that they actually do when they put out a fire, and it makes me safe to know that they actually work THAT hard to help other people. i love you, chris!

i have been a fireman for about five years now the first time i ever watch the movie was when i got into the greene fire dept it was great a littel afr fetched but good well that all i got to say about the movie

i saw this movie when i was 4 i loved it ever since i have two copies on vhs that i taped and one i on dvd there is many great sceens in this kick ass movie my favriot is brians first day

It´s kinda old movie ..but it´s good one! It´s kinda movie that you can watch many times and you´ll never get bored!

omg i love the movie backdraft!!! i've watched that 1,000 times and wore out a tape. i think that it is a good movie but its not well planned cuz u don't go into a burning building w/o a mask on but it gives a taste of what it is like to be a firefighter.

I LOVE BACKDRAFT!!!!!!!!! It is the best movie i have ever seen. It really made me want to become a firefighter. I did want to become one even before I watched the movie. I watch it every night before bed. LOL! It will always be my best movie. My faveorite part is when well the hole movie is my fav. but the best would have to be the scene when Stevie yells "swayzack, oh you should have been there. Really it was f***ing great. Well you know since you shut down station 48 well there's no back up. Really we do appreciate it." Also when it is Brians first day. He saved a manican how stupid can he get. LOL I have the whole movie memorized so much that when i get on the bus for school I say lines and this one kid says you watch that movie to much. I just say what od you expect it is the best movie ever. well. The fact at the end really amazed me that so many firefighters are active in serving our country. WOW!

Backdraft is the BEST movie to ever hit to the big screen. I have been watching this movie everyday since i was 3 year old and now i'm 17. I have always wnated to be a firefighter but seeing that movie made me want to become one even more. I even have the soundtrack and i can tell you what part of the movie and what lines are being said during every song on the soundtrack. And like Sarah i recite line to this movie all the time. Oh and by the way i am now a cadet firefighter in my town .

I love this movie. I think it's great. But....I am absolutely TERRIFIED of fire. I have this immense fear of my house burning down. It sucks, because I like it and all, and wanna watch it as much as I can. Yet, for some reason, fate must step in, they always show it on TV at night and around the 4th of July. The time when my idiot neighbors decide to shoot off illegal fire works. So I hear them and I'm like, "Oh, F**k!!!" and turn it off and run outside to see where there were set off. Dumb, I know.=(

Why is there a deleted scene on the t.v. version between steven mccaffery and the arson investigator where they discuss a run report about tim, the fireman that gets burned in the high rise fire?? Why isn't this scene on the movie???

fire is very dangerous but i loved the movie i mean i really loved it i don't really know what to say because i just loved it so much. the saddest part of the movie is when stevie dies. waaaaaaaaaaa!!!! boohoo.

Backdraft is the best movie ever too come out so wat if it is old my favorite part of the whole movie is when Brian(baldwin) wrestles the hose down by himself and take out the fire. My least favorite is when Kurt russell dies./cry/ Oh well over all it is an awesome movie

The best part in the movie has to when Brian goes and saves the hose so the guy that droped it could get up there and help steven.
