| Discussion: Aviator Generally, this film was a bore. It dragged on soo long, I was surprised how many times I had to make myself focus. However, I do like the story of Howard Hughes and do think DiCaprio played the role lovely. I admired his ambition, obsession and insanity, DiCaprio delivered well. Some scenes were filmed nicely, I mainly recall when he locked himself away, and also when his young escort smashed into his car, that was great. I also give props for Cate Blanchett's role as Katharine Hepburn, wonderful.
