| Discussion: Airplane What was the name of the Airlines in the movie? >>By surgemaster I have a question about a missing scene that is driving me NUTS! This scene is not in the DVD or the VHS edition that I own, but I know it was in at least one version of the film. Right at the beginning a scene in the airport has one couple recognizing another and they yell out "Hi Fred!" Upon noticing his friends the other man replies, "Hi Jack!" At this point alarms start sounding and I believe security takes him away since beside him there is a sign reading, "Hijacking is a federal offence". Can ANYONE please tell me why this is not in the current editions of the film or better yet where I can find a copy with this scene in it?
