Warm and touching movies!

this movie was so trippy..
i guess i'm just not an extremely artistic person cause wow.. that was weird.
i like the soundtrack though. the songs were good to begin with, but i liked the way they sang them as well.

I would recommend that people fast forward to scene s14 and 15, starring Bono and Eddie Izard. Those scenes are hilariously trippy--making alive everything great I've heard about the 60s. But the rest of the movie has a slow and contrived plot, devised just to make the songs fit; and the dialogue is even sillier. The musical scenes are mostly trying to be Moulin Rouge, but Jim Sturgess is no Ewan McGregor, and the young couple's love is just not convincing.

You could watch it just for the Beatles covers, but I prefer the original songs.

Beautiful film. Very artsy, almost french esq.
I would recommend it - Young love, for anyone who enjoyed The Notebook, this is a slightly upbeat verison of that with songs, dancing and wonderful costumes and scenes of a hallucinative nature!
Good film, wouldn't watch it repeatedly though!

I thought that this movie was very interesting. I thought that the songs were nicely laid through out the movie. The art through out the movie was extrodinary. Very different from what you normally see.

Quite gritty at times but still amazing. There are times I forget it was set on a different decade. I really wouldn't compare it to the Notebook.

It's one of the more interesting musicals I have seen recently. Maybe because I have grown up with Beatles songs because of my parents.
