| Discussion: Aberdeen The Aberdeen was a fantastic movie. I just love it, it was so close to my life. I saw it on the tv but i really have to buy it on to my self!! On the ferry, the dad says "Girls lose their virginity, it's expected". What does the daughter say just before that. My wife thinks she is saying her father had sex with her. I think she is just suggesting that she left him alone so much while he worked on the oil rig that she was seduced by someone else. We can't get the Scottish accent and slang she is using.
